"You don’t go to school planning to work in 340B. I’m not a pharmacist—I’m an accountant by trade. I started with an internship at a local CPA firm that specialized in single audits for community health centers. I really enjoyed working on the FQHC audits; they came naturally to me and were actually fun. I got into 340B by chance. I didn’t make the move thinking it was a big business opportunity—I made the move because I wanted to be home with my kids."
